What if Authors Wrote Clickbait Articles

As a writer, it's really tough out there when you have to write articles and then get people to click on the links. Many websites rely on clickbait headlines to get people to visit them. Sometimes, the articles are actually informative and well-written. Other times, it's a lengthy post about something that is hardly related to the headline. Now, let's imagine if famous authors wrote these clickbait headlines. How exactly would they bait you? 1) Edgar Allan Poe He thought it was an ordinary bird. But then the bird spoke only one word (The Raven) He thought he could get away with his crime until he heard the heartbeat of his victim.
