Books are always better. Everyone will tell you that but your counter point is likely to be that you like visual mediums or that watching a movie or a TV show is simply faster. A book can take a long time to finish after all. Yes, it can be tempting to watch a movie adaptation rather than read a book, but guess what? If you truly want to enjoy a story and actually get to know your characters, then read the book.
