1) Taj Mahal in Agra, India

The Taj Mahal was once regarded as a symbol of love. It was after all, built on the orders of Shah Jahan when he lost his wife Mumtaz Mahal after she gave birth to their fourteenth child.
The monument was constructed and completed in 1653.
Since then, the Taj Mahal is seen as a symbol of India as well and attacts thousands of tourists every year.




2) Colosseum in Rome, Italy

The Colosseum is an elliptical amphitheatre that was constructed and completed in 80 AD under the successor of Vespasian, Titus.
For a long time, the Colosseum was used by gladiators, and by performers. The Colosseum could seat up to 80,000 spectators.
However, over the years, the exterior has seen damage and can no longer be used for public events, although it has been used as backdrops for concerts.

The Colosseum is still a sight to behold and is a symbol of Roman History.




3) Burj Khalifa in Dubai, UAE

The tallest building in the world is a sight to behold. Construction began in 2004 and was completed in 2009.
The tower was initially called Burj Dubai, but after the developers ran out of money, the then ruler of UAE, Sheikh Khalifa provided the required funds to finish the project. To show their gratitude, the developers changed the name to Burj Khalifa.

The tower has won several awards over the years and has set various world records including Building with most floors, and World’s Highest New Year Fireworks Display.
