Top 10 Shows You Will Get Addicted To

There are literally dozens of shows available on streaming services, shows which we once watched on TV.

Most times, a few TV shows provided background noise for whatever work we had to get done that day. Other times The TV would be on because you didn't want to feel lonely.

And then there were times that the show was so good, you put everything aside for it so you could watch it.

And nowadays, if you are watching a show on a streaming service, luckily you won't have to wait a whole week for the next episode. Shows on streaming services come with full season released on the same day.

Most of them, anyway. Here are some of the TV shows that will leave you hooked.

Just one more episode. It will be the last. Promise.

1) The Glory: The South Korean drama has Revenge vibes. The show manages to hook you from the very first episode and make you sympathize with the main character.

We may have seen several teen shows with bullying themes, but the violence over here is on another level. This sort of bullying is meant to break a person and destroy their lives, yet our protagonist manages to survive it all and wait patiently to serve her bullies the ultimate slice of revenge.

They do say revenge is a dish best served cold.

2) House M.D.: The show may have ended a decade ago but it is still engaging. Most of it has to do with yhe titular character and his brand of shenanigans.

While it is essentially a medical drama, it is the mystery and humor packed in each episode that makes it worth a watch. A rewatch in this case.

3) Only Murders In The Building: The cast isn't the only best thing about this show. The mystery is just as great. You will never guess until the very last episode of the season as to who the killer is and what their motives are.

4) The Vampire Diaries: Based on the popular novels, this show came out when vampire stories were all the rage. What made this show watchable was the good looking cast but also the twist and turns that came throughout the seasons.

The love triangle may have been stretched out for over four seasons, but the story was still compelling enough.

5) Elite: This Spanish drama has a great cast, an interesting plot, romance, and…murder.

Each season of this thrilling show starts with a scene of murder. One of the cast members is always the one to go. The rest of the episodes work as a flashback to how the murder occurred.

The twists and turns will keep you occupied while the drama will make you tune into the next episode the minute one episode ends.

The later seasons, however, does focus more on intimate scenes rather than the mystery but by then, you have already connected to the characters and don't care.

6) The Boys: We all wait for a superhero to come save the day but after watching this show, you may just be glad that superheroes are fictional.

Because imagine a superhero like Homelander roaming about. Yikes!

This action-packed show has a lot of humor and a lot of drama.

At certain points you will wonder if they have crossed a line.

Well, guess what? They don't care.

Forget all your inhibitions and watch this show that will not only keep you amused but hooked as well.

7) Seinfeld: The show ended more than twenty years ago but you will not find this comedy outdated at all.

Seinfeld's brand of humor is relevant and relatable. There is also no unnecessary romantic scenes between the friends, and you won't see any sentimental sequences either.

They are friends and they like each other. They don't have to hug it out to show that they are friends do they?

8) Yellowjackets: This show is perhaps the best mystery to come out in recent times. You will be pulled into the plight of a high school soccer team when their plane crashes in the wilderness.

They will do anything to survive. Anything.

Years later, some of them have interesting careers and lives, but they all refuse to talk about what really happened when their plane crashed.

This show will keep you on your toes. It helps that the acting is just too good.

9) American Horror Stories: The spin-off of the immensely popular American Horror Story, may not have been received as positively but it still had some interesting stories to tell.

Unlike American Horror Story, each episode in American Horror Stories is a separate story. While some were hits, an episode or two in a season would be a miss.

Nevertheless, after one Horror story, who can resist watching another one?

10) The Office: Search for comedy shows online, and The Office will surely come up first.

The show was shot like a documentary and showed how people behaved and interacted in an office setting.

All the characters were well-loved and till today you will find memes about characters and favorite scenes.

This comedy is definitely a must-watch. However, it can take some time before you actually get used to this kind of humor.

The mockumentary style and get hard to get used to especially if you have watched sitcoms and expecting a laugh track.
